The process diagram illustrates how electricity is produced in a hydroelectric power station.

overall, electricity is generated in day time by water flows from the high level of reservoir to the reversible turbines generator and then electricity is goes to the power lines. At night, process is reversed with water being pumped back to the high level reservoir.

initially, water from the river stored in the high level of reservoir after that the intake gate is opened in day time and water flows with speed to the reversible turbines side then turbines is spun revers.

Followed by, generator is operated by turbines. Finally, electricity is produced which is transmitted through the power lines to national grid. Subsequently night process is begun with water from low level reservoir, goes to turbines spin process is started and water flows using pump to the river.
