IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The provided picture depicts the details of the electricity is produced in a hydroelectric power station by using of flow of water.

Overall, It is cyclic process which is mainly divided in six steps begaining with high level reservoir in dam structure and that produced the electricity from water flow than during the night reverse into the high level reservoir by using of pumping system.

Firstly, dam is constructed in the upper tropical area then constructed slider way for generate water flow in high speed and it was directly contact with the pumping station and they have one dynamo so it can produce electricity from the high pressure of the water flow after that generated power lines to national grid.

secondly, low level of water is using of reverse transfer system in power station and that was helping to reverse the water into the water reservoir and this process is happen during the night time.
