The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.0)

First of all the river water stored in the dam and it flows further in the dam the river water stored in dam and create high level resovoir which is the main part of the dam which generate hydroelectric power. Which is mainly use to produce energy aur electricity for the whole unit . This hydroelectric power station is used to generate electricity and tha pressure of river water which is stored in the dam make the electricity and it is main point to produce the electricity. Hydroelectric power station is mainly used to produce electricity with the use of water stored in the dam. The dam water was too deep and dangerous,if the water level rise from the decided level it may damage the dam wall and it become dangerous for the people living in the city but it was too helpfull to produce the electricity without use generator aur petrol things
