The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in a hydroelectric power station.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram illustrates how hydroelectric power station is created electricity.Here two categories which we will discuss.
Overall,hydroelectric power station has two stages.During day,from river to dam where flow of water in day from high level reservoir to go low level reservoir and then from the reversible turbines to in operate generator and created power station and then goes from power line to national grid which is the end point and then makes proper electricity.
On the other hand, During the night, from the river to high level reservior and then here intake is closed while in the day intake is open.In the night water of flow through the pumping goes toward low level to high level and then it dropped in reverible turbines and generator power station and the night time pump water into high level and here every process started low level to high level and then it created properly electricity.
