Student answer (Band 5.5)
Music plays a significant role of entertainment in everyone's life . While some people believe that it helps to connect with different cutures and ages. I am completely agree with the opinion that music brings joy to people's life and it shows the cultural diversity that can engage the people of any age with culture.
Music is a type of art that shows the cutural diversity and inrooted traditions of people. The music performances usually visualised the traditional folk music with cultural dresses that connects people of any age, get to know about diifferent cultures. For example, the folk and classic music reminds the history of old people how they enjoyed celebrations and how they used to enjoy the simple life.
Music is now becoming popular among all ages but the choice of the music is vary from person to person. For example, K-pop is gaining more popularity in teenagers. They are now adopting korean and anime cultures. However, some people like to listen the old music according to their taste which connects them more classical. Additionally, they can join classical groups of literature and poetry that can bring joy in their lives.
To put it in a nutshell, according to my perspective the music brings joy to all ages but the type of music they want to listen is vary from person to person. According to the people's taste they can know about diffrent cultures whatever they need to listen.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that music can connect people across ages and cultures, and the examples of folk music, K-pop and older music are relevant to the question. However, the response only partly develops the claim: the opening says music brings people together, but much of the body explains how music reflects culture or differs by age rather than showing how people actually connect through shared listening or events. The point about classical groups is also unclear and not fully explained. The conclusion repeats your view without adding a developed final insight. The response is 10 words below the required minimum, and this contributes to the limited development. Explain each example more fully and make the link to bringing people together explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly group cultural traditions and differences in musical taste, and examples such as K-pop help the reader follow the topic. However, progression is uneven: the second body paragraph moves from teenagers’ preferences to older music and then to literature and poetry groups without clearly explaining the connections. Linking phrases such as “For example,” “However,” and “Additionally” are used, but they sometimes signal relationships that are not fully established. Some ideas are repeated in the conclusion rather than brought together. To improve, organise each paragraph around one clear reason and use explicit references to show how each example supports your central argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “cultural diversity,” “traditional folk music,” “K-pop,” and “classical music,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “inrooted traditions,” but inaccurate word choice and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make meaning less clear. Examples include “cutures,” “diifferent,” “diffrent,” and “visualised the traditional folk music”; “connects them more classical” is also an unclear collocation. Repetition of “music,” “people,” and “joy” limits the range. Build a more accurate set of phrases for describing shared musical experiences, cultural traditions and preferences, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “the cultural diversity that can engage the people of any age” and a contrast introduced by “However.” Nevertheless, errors are frequent, and some sentence patterns are faulty enough to interrupt smooth reading. For example, “I am completely agree” has an incorrect verb form, while “the choice of the music is vary” uses an incorrect structure. In “the folk and classic music reminds,” the subject and verb do not agree, and “that connects people” does not clearly match its plural reference. Spacing before punctuation is also inconsistent. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly formed clause.
