Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days people are saying music is the best way of gathering different cultures people together because people love to listen the all type of music and will enhance their inner feelings for the different kinds of the customs. And i agree with that point.
First of all, people of different age groups listens some different kinds of music to amuse themselves according to their taste and their moods.Secondly, music will have the power to adopt anything new in the different forms of the groups of the people of different ages.Thirdly, people love the music which is very close to their heart so it will closes the difference of different cultures in one plate form.In addition to,I agree that people who listens different music of different cultures will be able to know the inner feelings of their customs and culture and love each other.
Moreover, there are some disagrees of the different culture music can not have the power to unite all the people in the one plate form.inspite of that every person in our society have their own culture and traditions and they follow them maybe for sometimes they have small attachment to the music otherwise they just listen the music and move on to do their work. However,I must give my opinion that listening different music of different culture will helps the people to come close each other because they have their inner feelings with the music. For example various studies shows that to listen music at different age groups may be the reason of gathering different people in one plate form.
To summarize that, music is the best way of bringing different people together of different culture in one plate form unitely.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion on the role of music in bridging cultural and age gaps. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. While you mention that music helps people understand 'inner feelings' and 'customs,' these points are not supported by concrete, specific examples, which limits the persuasiveness of the argument. The counter-argument provided in the third paragraph is a good attempt at balance, but it is slightly underdeveloped and lacks clear logical progression. To improve, focus on providing more detailed explanations and specific real-world examples to support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as 'In addition to,I agree' and 'inspite of that'. The transition between ideas is occasionally abrupt, making the flow of the argument feel disjointed. The use of referencing is also inconsistent, which sometimes makes it difficult to follow the logical progression of your points. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is a reliance on basic phrasing, such as 'gathering different cultures people together' and 'one plate form' (likely meant as 'platform'). Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect in context, such as 'there are some disagrees' instead of 'there are some who disagree'. To reach a higher band, you should work on using more precise collocations and academic vocabulary, and ensure that you are using words in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people of different age groups listens'), article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'will have the power to adopt anything new'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent sentence construction will be very beneficial.
