Nowadays, music is very common in everyday routine. Approximately 90% of people do listen the music. Everyone do have different taste and its own preference of listening music. To some extent some people believe that music is a good way to bring the people from different cultures and ages together. This is a very common in today's era because most of the people hears international songs also and it shows that particular country's culture. For example, In my country India, most of the residents hears rap music and they are very much interested with Atif Aslam. I do agree that song is a good way to bring people of different culture beacuse some people are very attaracted towards other country culture and when two country singer collabs with eachother, it create a massive hit beacuse it represent the bond between those both singer's fan as well as with the country. It an also bring ages together which is very helpful for the local residents and they feel about the diversity too.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position on the role of music in bridging cultural and age gaps. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you provide an example regarding Indian and Pakistani music, the explanation of how music specifically bridges age gaps is underdeveloped and relies on vague assertions like 'diversity provides the ages together.' To improve, you should provide more concrete examples or logical explanations for how music facilitates intergenerational connection. The introduction is also quite weak and does not clearly outline the essay's scope, which affects the overall task response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow between sentences is often disjointed. Transitions are sometimes mechanical or misused, such as 'Thus, discussed in this essay,' which is not a standard way to introduce a topic. The conclusion is particularly problematic as it uses repetitive, circular logic ('happiness brings different culture. Cultures provides diversity, diversity provides the ages together') that does not effectively summarize the main points. While there is an attempt to use cohesive devices, they are often inaccurate or lack the necessary precision to guide the reader smoothly through your arguments.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple words like 'good,' 'common,' and 'different.' There are also several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'Every people do have' instead of 'Everyone has,' and 'hears international songs' instead of 'listens to international music.' The phrase 'collabs with eachother' is informal and grammatically incorrect. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations related to the topic of culture and social cohesion.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Every people do have,' 'Everyone do have'), incorrect preposition usage ('listen the music'), and awkward sentence structures. There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the ones attempted often contain errors, such as 'when two country singer collabs with eachother, it create a massive hit.' Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and comma usage. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
