There are many other significance of music that will be discuss further.

Firstly, there are numerous advantages of music as people listen to different types of songs that can unite different cultures and traditions in our country. These types of songs are largely appreciated by a group of listeners.

However, music has also consist of some drawbacks. Many artist tries to compose their music to get popular but fails in reaching the expectation of the audience. It is because of the unfamiliar language used in particular songs. Furthermore, musics intoduced in different time period can not able to reached to every audience. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether music brings people of different cultures and ages together, presenting a clear position agreeing with this view. The introduction outlines the main stance and mentions that different music explores different cultures and traditions. However, the development of ideas lacks depth and contains some irrelevance or confusion, particularly in the body paragraphs where the writer discusses the drawbacks of music (such as unfamiliar languages and generational preferences), which somewhat contradicts the strong agreement stated in the introduction. There is a tendency to over-generalise, and points like music failing to unite age groups are introduced late and conflict slightly with the initial thesis. Consequently, the task is addressed, but the ideas are not fully extended or supported throughout. This performance aligns best with the Band 6 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, separating the introduction, body arguments, and conclusion. However, the logical progression is hindered by confusing transitions and contradictory statements between paragraphs. Cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or faulty, such as 'There are many other significance of music that will be discuss further' and the abrupt shift signalled by 'However, music has also consist of some drawbacks.' Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the conclusion introduces new ideas rather than summarising the main points effectively. Paragraphing is used, but the internal logical flow requires better management. These features correspond directly to a Band 6 score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'contemporary era', 'significant', and 'melodies, rythm and beats'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice, morphology, and spelling throughout the text. Examples include 'listen music' instead of 'listen to music', 'competetions' (spelling), 'languag' (spelling), 'intoduced', 'genration', and 'appreciatable'. These lexical inaccuracies and non-standard word forms occasionally cause slight strain for the reader, though communication is generally maintained. This matches the characteristics of Band 5.0, where vocabulary is minimally adequate with noticeable errors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples of errors include 'music has also consist of', 'Many artist tries', 'can not able to reached', and 'if they tries to listen... with the helps of'. These errors are frequent enough to cause difficulty for the reader at times, placing the grammatical performance firmly in the Band 5 category where attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty.
