It is undeniable that there are various ways to learn about the diversity and to communicate without using words .Music is one of the most powerful of these means. It helps to build connections among people from different backgrounds and also brings cultures and generations together.

Music plays vital role in connecting people across the cultures. With the advancement of technology, people can explore global cultures from their home. It has become a form of communication in itself. Often , singers don't just sing a song , they express their deep emotions and listeners feel connected to them. For Example , Arijit Singh one if the India's most famous singer is loved world wide .He has performed concerts accross the globe and also he is admired not only as a singer and composer but also as a kind-hearted person. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the task, presenting a clear position throughout that music effectively brings people of different cultures and ages together. The introduction sets a supportive tone, and the body paragraphs offer relevant ideas, such as how modern technology aids global cultural exploration through music and how shared listening or dancing experiences unite diverse generations. For example, the student mentions Arijit Singh to illustrate cross-cultural appeal and notes how festivals bring family members together. However, some ideas feel slightly under-developed or general, leaning towards Band 6 descriptors where task coverage is adequate but lacks the depth and fully extended argumentation required for a Band 7. Nevertheless, the main premise is well maintained from start to finish.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a logical progression of ideas. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, two distinct body paragraphs focusing on culture and age respectively, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'Furthermore,' 'In conclusion,' and 'For Example,' although some referencing and punctuation choices around these devices are a bit mechanical or faulty (e.g., spacing issues like 'without using words .Music' and 'Often , singers'). Paragraphs generally flow reasonably well, allowing the reader to follow the arguments without significant confusion. This places the performance firmly at Band 6, where organization is coherent overall even though minor cohesive flaws are evident.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'transcends cultural boundaries,' 'mutual understanding,' and 'kind-hearted person.' However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'peruse' instead of 'pursue,' 'accross' instead of 'across,' 'world wide' instead of 'worldwide,' and spacing issues like 'pf all age groups' and 'unityand.' These inaccuracies prevent the vocabulary from reaching the precision of Band 7, but they do not severely impede communication, making Band 6 an appropriate and fair reflection of the lexical control demonstrated.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating structures such as conditional and relative clauses ('It helps to build connections among people from different backgrounds and also brings cultures and generations together'). There are several grammatical and punctuation errors present, including missing articles ('plays vital role'), incorrect capitalization ('For Example'), punctuation spacing errors, and minor phrasing awkwardness ('dance together at the same music'). Despite these frequent minor errors, the meaning remains clear and they rarely impede communication. This balance of mixed structures and manageable errors aligns well with the Band 6 descriptors.
