According to many people music is a good way of socializing with people of different ages and culture together.

Some individual thinks that it is a good activity to being close to others culture because music is something that is connected to individuals hearts. Everyone has it's own taste. Some feel energy and relaxation while listening to music. In Indian culture music has a special place. There are different types of music like raps, freestyle and hip hop etc.

Listening to punjabi songs which I personally like the most has helped me a lot to learn about Indian and punjabi culture. There thinking process the jargons and norms.

However there are many others who does not think that music is a good thing to get close to other cultures. As they might like to meet people in person or they are not able to understand better through music or songs.

So there are different perspective in this world I personally like music a good option to know about different culture as every music and has some instruments and every song has some lyrics which depicts about the cultural picture of others

In Punjabi songs and music you will notice that they use dhool as instrument and that's shows what kind of instruments they prefer in French music you may notice violen or piano and guitar.

In conclusion, it is totally depends on the person who is listening to music and how he/she takes it as whole. Some may like the concept some thinks it is just loud noises.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While the writer expresses a personal opinion on whether music brings people of different cultures and ages together, the ideas are limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on how music connects to people's hearts and the mention of Indian culture are superficial and lack sufficient supporting examples. The position is stated, but the arguments remain basic and repetitive throughout the essay, leading to an underdeveloped overall response that touches upon the prompt without exploring the nuances of both culture and age as required by the task instructions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation present in the response, but it lacks a clear overall progression. The essay attempts to use paragraphing, but the divisions are often abrupt, and some paragraphs consist of single, fragmented sentences like 'Listening to punjabi songs which I personally like the most has helped me a lot to learn about Indian and punjabi culture.' Cohesive devices are either inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, with excessive reliance on simple connectors such as 'So', 'However', and 'In conclusion'. Referencing between ideas can be unclear, creating a disjointed reading experience where the logical relationship between sentences is not always well managed.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The lexical resource is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer uses basic and repetitive vocabulary, such as repeating 'culture', 'music', and 'different' frequently. There are noticeable lexical errors, including word choice and collocation issues like 'socializing with people of different ages and culture together' and 'being close to others culture'. Furthermore, word forms and spelling show inaccuracies, such as 'violen' instead of violin and 'perspective' instead of perspectives. These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a vocabulary range that struggles to move beyond everyday phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The grammar demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex forms that are often faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader, including subject-verb agreement issues like 'Some individual thinks' and missing articles or incorrect prepositions as seen in 'depicts about the cultural picture'. Punctuation is also problematic, with run-on sentences and sentence fragments lacking main verbs. These frequent errors persist throughout the text, constraining the grammatical flexibility and accuracy of the writing.
