Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is true that, music is better option to bring individuals of different culture, tradition, and age group people together. Although this statement seems to be justified upto large extent because social media influence young people to listen music, as per my perspectives culture activities bring more benefits to met diffarent culture and ages together.
To begin with the viewpoint why music is better approach to bring people of different culture and ages together is that young people listen music on social media platforms. To be precise, there are various social media platforms available on the internet where people listen music not only their own nation but also foreign nation's music as well. For instance, many countries upload their own nation's music on You Tube and Instragram channels where people love to listen music because of rythems and meaningful music lyrics which connected people with different culture people. Therefore, It may build strong realtionship with other countries along with boosts their overall economy.
Nevertherless, culture activities also help to connected people from neighbour nations. To be specific, government should raise awareness how to respect of other nation's culture by providing proper guidance and they also need to conduct international seminars to maintain the healthy realtionship with each others. Japan, for example is a country where goverment conduct international meetings to stay in touch with foreign nations and also give respect to their nation's culture and tradition. Hence, it would be advantages for both countries by providing more trade realted opportunities.
After taking everthing into consideration, i reckon that music is source of entertainment which helps to bring different culture people together through social media applications, government should raise awareness among natives to respect other nation's culture to maintain their relationship strong.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the task partially, expressing a somewhat unclear position regarding whether music brings people together compared to cultural activities. The ideas presented are limited and remain under-developed throughout the body paragraphs. For instance, the discussion on social media platforms and YouTube is repetitive, stating that people listen to music from different nations without fully exploring how this specifically bridges cultural and generational gaps as required by the prompt. Furthermore, the introduction drifts slightly into discussing cultural activities rather than maintaining a clear focus on the prompt's core premise about music. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to present a well-developed position throughout the essay and extend their main ideas with more relevant explanations and specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some organization with basic paragraphing, but there is a lack of clear overall progression from the introduction to the conclusion. The progression of ideas feels disjointed because the transition between discussing music on social media and discussing government-led cultural activities in the third paragraph is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Nevertherless' and 'After taking everthing into consideration', and referencing is occasionally unclear. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs requires better logical linking. To improve in this area, the writer should ensure that each paragraph follows a clear logical sequence and that cohesive devices are used more naturally to guide the reader smoothly through the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The lexical range used is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'international seminars' and 'opportunities', but there are noticeable word choice and spelling errors that cause some difficulty, such as 'met' instead of 'meet', 'rythems', 'realtionship', and 'advantages' instead of 'advantageous'. Collocations are sometimes awkward, for instance, 'bring different culture people together'. These spelling and word choice errors do not entirely impede communication, but they prevent the writing from achieving a higher level of precision and control. To reach the next band, the writer should expand their vocabulary range, focus on correct word forms, and pay closer attention to spelling and natural collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response relies on a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors involving verb forms, articles, prepositions, and singular-plural agreement, such as 'music is better option', 'listen music', 'foreign nation's music', and 'goverment conduct'. Punctuation errors are also present, including comma splices and missing capitalisation in proper nouns. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a lack of control over more complex grammatical patterns. To achieve a higher score, the writer must demonstrate a wider variety of error-free complex structures, maintain better control over basic grammatical rules, and improve punctuation accuracy throughout the response.
