Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that individuals of various cultures and ages can be bought together due to music. I personally agree with this opinion as when people of different region spend their time in various activities of life, they become more depressed. So they need something to relax their minds.
Not ony music but other art related stuff can be a source of happiness among different communities. Some individuals are convinced of the fact that every person has its own taste in music like pop music or classical music according to their taste and it affects their interaction so far. However, music can be a reason of disturbance for thoes community members who prefer to meet physically and enjoys face to face communication. Beside this, its higher levels can irritate some patients with hearing disabilities.
Personally, I have strong belief that music fosters the human's emotional wellbeing and provides comfort to the inner soul.It provides an opportunity to sit together as a team and enjoys every word of music while

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You state a clear position—“I personally agree”—and offer relevant points about music supporting relaxation and emotional wellbeing. You also acknowledge a possible drawback, such as music disturbing people who prefer face-to-face communication. However, the response addresses the question only partially: it does not explain in enough detail how music brings people from different cultures and age groups together, and the examples remain general rather than specific. The final sentence is unfinished, so the conclusion and supporting explanation are incomplete. The response is also 81 words below the required minimum, which leaves too little space to develop your reasons. Add a clear example, such as people of different generations sharing a concert or cultural music event, and explain its effect.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation: the opening gives your view, the next paragraph introduces other perspectives and possible disadvantages, and the final paragraph returns to your personal belief. Linking expressions such as “However” and “Beside this” show an attempt to connect ideas. Nevertheless, the progression is not clear throughout. The second paragraph moves between music preferences, interaction, face-to-face communication, and hearing disabilities without explaining how these points relate to the main argument. The final paragraph ends abruptly at “while,” leaving the thought incomplete. Use one paragraph for each main reason, connect each example explicitly to cultural or age-group unity, and finish with a complete concluding sentence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “different cultures,” “communities,” “emotional wellbeing,” and “comfort.” These choices help communicate your general ideas, and there is some attempt to use less common expressions. However, the range is limited, and several word-choice, spelling, or collocation errors make parts less natural, such as “bought together” for “brought together,” “other art related stuff,” and “a reason of disturbance.” “Its higher levels” is also unclear when referring to music volume. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and natural word combinations. For example, “shared musical experiences” and “bridge generational differences” would express your central idea more directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Some individuals are convinced of the fact that…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” The main meaning is generally recoverable, but errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “every person has its own taste” has a pronoun-agreement problem, while “who prefer to meet physically and enjoys” has inconsistent subject–verb agreement. In “they become more depressed,” the relationship between the clause and your intended point is not clearly expressed. The final sentence is incomplete, and punctuation is inconsistent, including the missing space after “soul.” Practise checking agreement and completing each sentence before moving on.
