This essay will argue that people mostly like to lisen music that in a language that is understandable for them like in their own language and people of different age groups have different taste in music.

The most imporant factor is that people mostly prefer and enjoy a music that is easy to understand. Because majority of people feel pleasure and amused by music which is easily interprated for them. So, that is why mostly people from same background significantly in terms of language get togathered where they listen music in their native language. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you disagree that music brings people together, and you give two relevant reasons—language differences and age-related musical preferences. The examples of older listeners preferring classical music and younger listeners choosing rap or pop help illustrate the second point. However, the response only partly develops the task: it mainly explains why people may have different preferences, rather than considering how music can still unite people across cultures and generations. The concert example is also vague and does not show clearly that attendees share a language or cultural background. To strengthen the argument, explain each reason in more depth and use a specific example, while acknowledging that shared musical experiences can sometimes cross these differences.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion returns to your position. Sequencing phrases such as “The most important factor” and “Moreover” help signal the development. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Because majority of people…” is a sentence fragment, and “So, that is why” repeats the same linking function. The final sentence also combines several ideas without showing their relationship clearly. Use fewer, more precise transitions and make the links between claims and examples explicit. A clearer concluding sentence that summarises the two reasons would improve the progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “different cultures,” “classical music,” “rock,” and “preferences,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the writing less clear, such as “a best way,” “music tast preferences,” and “fast track.” Repeated use of “listen,” “people,” and “prefer” also restricts variety. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, “musical tastes” and “fast-paced music” express your intended meanings more naturally. You could also use terms such as “shared musical interests” or “language barriers” to discuss the topic more accurately and avoid repeating the same basic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast between older listeners and younger people. However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “This essay completely disagree,” where the verb does not agree with its subject, and “people who likes,” which also needs subject–verb agreement. The opening phrase “people who belong from” uses an incorrect grammatical pattern, while “Because majority of people…” is an incomplete sentence. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate sentences with subordinate clauses, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation before submitting; clearer control of these basics will make your argument easier to understand.
