Student answer (Band 6.0)
Music is one of the most popular cultural activites among the people across the world. Some people argue that music is the best way of bringing people from different cultures and ages together. This essay agrees and suggests that although specific music test may leads to create dettachment among people, different people with similar music test may build a good relationship.
Music is something everyone likes to listen, share and explain to each other. By listening and sharing music, people may find out other people who like to listen the same types of music. Through this process, people from different cultures and ages may build a good bonding with others who have similar music test. For instance, at present k pop music is one of the most famous bands in the world. People from different countries such as Bangladesh, India, Nepal prefer to listen k pop songs and create saparate fandoms such as BTS army. Therefore, through the music, people from different countries, cultures, religions, ages are creating a belonging community.
However, specific music test can create dettachment among the people. people with modern music test will not be able to connect to the people who like to listen old classic music. As a result, there can be a dettachment among this two groups. For example, now-a-days a number of young people listen to k pop music and they are so connected to their fandom that they are forgetting the old songs. Eventually, they are losing connection with the people who still like to listen the old songs. However, when the metter is to listen music with the people having same music test, it makes people united.
In my opinion, Although depending on the music test people may choose to create saparate fandom or group, still music has the power of bringing people with similar music test together.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that music can bring people together, while recognising that different preferences may divide them. The response addresses both sides and gives a relevant example of international K-pop fandom, which supports the point about people from different cultures forming a community. The counterpoint about young listeners and fans of older music is also relevant, but it is less fully explained: the essay does not show how music might bridge age groups beyond people sharing the same taste. The conclusion repeats your main view rather than extending it. To develop the response further, explain more directly how shared musical experiences can connect people of different ages and cultures, and make the examples support that specific claim.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from music creating shared communities to differences in taste causing separation is easy to follow, and signposts such as “However” help show the contrast. Some connections are less clear or feel mechanical. For example, the final sentence of the second body paragraph shifts back to unity without fully linking that point to the preceding example of separation. The conclusion also repeats the same idea rather than drawing the discussion together. Use clearer references to connect each example to its paragraph’s main claim, and make transitions explain the relationship between ideas rather than simply announce a contrast.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “cultures,” “fandoms,” “belonging community” and “detachment,” and the K-pop example gives the discussion some specific language. However, repeated use of “music taste” limits variety, and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision, such as “specific music test,” “create a good bonding” and “saparate.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding the main ideas, but they make some phrases sound unnatural. Build a more flexible range by using expressions such as “musical preferences,” “form strong connections” and “separate fan communities.” Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships so that your vocabulary communicates the intended meaning more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in “although specific music test may leads…” and a conditional structure in “when the metter is to listen…”. The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some errors in verb forms, articles, agreement and sentence punctuation remain. For example, “everyone likes to listen” needs “listen to,” while “may leads” should use the base verb after “may.” In “there can be a dettachment among this two groups,” the demonstrative should agree with the plural noun. Capitalisation after full stops is also inconsistent. Review modal verb patterns, subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence to improve accuracy while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
