Student answer (Band 5.5)
Music has a great value in every culture, nation or any group. In this eassy i will discuss about the music among the different people of different cultures and ages.
Music represents the society norms and value because the any writer who write the lyrics of music knows how people think in thier society. If we wants to know the culturte of any nation than music is one of the source that tell us about thier traditions. There is also reality of music that it has been cahnged from passage of time. If we listen music of our paretnts we generally feel no any interest but our parents have great obsession with same music. This will cause the interaction of different ages person.
Moreover, if we think deep then we come to know that music may mislead someone culture. For instance if we listen music of a perosn who's vision is to just enjoy and crtisize thier nation than we will may think bad toughts about that nation but it may or may not true side what we are expecting.
Furthermore, if we see the the music of different ages than we clearly see the harsh disaggrement between parents and thier children related music. For instance parents always critisize to thier children and said that thier tatse of music was not good. This also seen in the children behaviour because they also think how pathetic music sense at old time.
In conclusion, in my opinion the culture is repreesnt by the music but we also needs to check wheather it wrote by some reliable writer or not before judging nation culture. For different ages person they need to enjoy music of each other so they portray the good gestures of thier closeness instead they dislike one another taste of music.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the topic by discussing music’s connection with culture and the differences between generations, and your conclusion recommends that people appreciate one another’s musical tastes. However, the extent of your agreement is not stated clearly at the beginning, and the discussion does not consistently explain how music actually brings people together. The point about music reflecting a society’s values is relevant, but the example of parents and children having different tastes mainly shows disagreement, rather than connection. The paragraph about music potentially misleading listeners is also only loosely linked to the question. To strengthen the response, state your position directly and develop examples that show shared listening, performances, or musical traditions creating interaction across cultures and ages.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In conclusion” help signal paragraph changes. However, the overall progression is not always clear: the discussion moves from music representing culture to misleading listeners, then to generational disagreement, without consistently connecting these points to the central question of bringing people together. Some references are also difficult to follow, such as “This will cause the interaction” and “it may or may not true side.” Build each paragraph around one clear point, explain its relevance to the question, and use pronouns and linking phrases only when their meaning is clear. This would make the organisation more coherent and less dependent on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “traditions,” “lyrics,” “interaction,” and “disagreement,” which helps communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make ideas unclear, such as “great obsession with same music,” “mislead someone culture,” and “portray the good gestures of their closeness.” Spelling errors are also noticeable, including “eassy,” “culturte,” and “disaggrement,” and they sometimes slow the reader’s understanding. Aim for more precise phrases that express the relationship between music and social connection, and check spelling carefully. For example, describe music as “reflecting cultural values” or as “a shared activity” rather than relying on vague or unnatural wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If we listen to music…” and clauses beginning with “because.” However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to understand. Examples include “the any writer who write,” “If we wants to know,” and “we will may think,” which show problems with articles, subject–verb agreement, and verb forms. Sentence construction is also faulty in “This also seen in the children behaviour,” where the verb is missing. Work on forming complete clauses, matching verbs to their subjects, and using articles and possessives consistently. Shorter, carefully checked sentences would improve accuracy while you continue practising more complex structures.
