Whenever we stressed, bored and tired music helps a lot during that time. Different ages of people getting obsessesd with a song. It is a good way of bringing people of several cultures and ages together. In our society there is no discrimination about music so every culture appreciate another cultures music.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear from the opening: “I agree,” and the conclusion restates that music can connect people and create friendship. You also give a relevant personal example about your friend bringing people of different cultures and ages together. However, the response only partly develops the reasons: claims such as music being appreciated across cultures and helping with stress are asserted rather than explained with specific examples. The discussion also repeats the general idea of people enjoying music without showing in detail how it creates connections. The response is 211 words, which is 39 words below the 250-word minimum; 42 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop your example and explain the process by which shared musical interests bring people together.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, several body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the overall topic remains easy to identify. Basic linking expressions such as “Overall,” “In detail,” “Although” and “In conclusion” help signal stages in the response. However, progression between ideas is limited: the paragraphs repeat that people enjoy music and that it connects cultures, rather than building a clear sequence of reasons and evidence. Some links are unclear, as in “Although it has a significant effect … we always want to listen,” where the contrast does not fit the meaning. The reference to “that thing” is also vague. Organise each body paragraph around one distinct reason, then use clearer references and transitions to connect the explanation to its example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “different cultures,” “daily routine,” “significant effect,” “friendship” and “connected.” There are also attempts to express feelings and effects, such as music helping when people are “stressed, bored and tired.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the reader pause: “individual loves music,” “getting obsessesd,” “beautifully maked music” and “reduces our stresses.” Repetition of “music,” “people” and “time” also limits flexibility. Build a more precise set of collocations for discussing shared experiences and cultural exchange, and check spelling and word forms when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main position using mostly straightforward sentence patterns, and you attempt some longer structures, for example, “Whenever we stressed, bored and tired music helps a lot during that time” and “Although it has a significant effect …”. These attempts show some variety, but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms and agreement appear in “a large number of individual loves,” “Different ages of people getting,” and “people … attracts music.” Articles, plurals and sentence construction also need attention, as in “there is a few number of people” and “they had unlimited fun in that time.” Some sentences are understandable, but these recurring errors can make relationships between ideas less clear. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clauses, then proofread longer sentences for tense and punctuation.
