Music play very crucial role in many people's life, serving various purposes, such as strengthing bond among different cultures and reduce age gap. I strongly agree with this statement that music connect different culture and ages together.

Music have deep emotions in it, it shares deep emotions with other such jou, sorrow, love, hope without even sharing any culture with someone or anthing. People worldwide enjoy international styles like K-pop, reggae, or classical music, creating shared global communities which connects people from different levels. Also large music concert and culture event help people from different background to celebrate side by side. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that music can connect people across cultures and generations. You give relevant reasons, including shared emotional responses, international genres, concerts, and older songs enjoyed by several generations. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these ideas are briefly stated rather than explained or supported with developed examples. The Arijit Singh example, for instance, is mentioned but not clarified with a specific account of how his music brings different groups together. The response also contains 171 words, below the required 250, so there is not enough space to develop both parts of the argument. Add a further example and explain how each reason supports your view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, followed by ideas about cultural connection and then age groups. This makes the main direction understandable. You also use basic linking expressions such as “Also” and “as,” and the ideas generally remain relevant to the topic. However, the progression within paragraphs is not always clear: the discussion moves quickly from emotions to music genres, concerts, and a singer without showing how each point connects. The final paragraph is one long sentence, which makes the relationship between the example and conclusion harder to follow. Use separate paragraphs for the two main reasons, and connect each example explicitly to the claim it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “cultures,” “emotions,” “global communities,” “concert,” and “different age groups.” These choices help communicate your central ideas, and phrases such as “shared global communities” show an attempt to express more than basic opinions. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and word-form errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “strengthing,” “jou,” “anthing,” and “theam.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “reduce age gap” and “pure wording.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for shared musical experiences and intergenerational connection would help you explain your ideas with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify your main position. However, the range of structures is limited, and errors in basic sentence grammar occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “Music play” and “Music have” need subject–verb agreement, while “music connect” and “which connects” show inconsistent agreement. The sentence beginning “There are different type of song” also has problems with plural forms and sentence construction, and the final sentence runs on without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, then combine ideas using clauses such as “because” or “which.” Proofread agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries.
