Music is a powerful media of communication. Some individuals argue that music can accumulate people from different cultures and ages. I completely agree with that music can introduce culture as well as converse people from different ages.

Music plays an important role in introducing various culture that is because music has linked with culture which is differ from one another. Indigenous pelple can reflect their culture by using music which carries identity. For examle, baul song that reflect the bengal culture and also describes the rural set up of bengal by lyrical arrangements. Moreover, it helps to know the intrumental sector of the particular region. To more extend, it can accumulate people from different culture by their instruments, lyrics and emotional attachment.

Music acts as an emotional tools that can link different people from different ages by arranging sentimental lyrics, instrumental uses and rhythm that attach younger with reality and takes the older group to the past. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you “completely agree” that music can connect people across cultures and ages, and you give relevant examples, including Baul songs and Pink Floyd. These examples show an understanding of both parts of the question. However, the cultural point is explained more fully than the age-related point, which relies mainly on one brief example and an unclear contrast between younger and older listeners. The conclusion repeats your view but does not add a final reason or implication. The response also falls 38 words short of the required minimum, limiting the space available to develop and support your ideas. Extend each main point with a clearer explanation and a specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph about cultural connections, one about age groups, and a concluding statement. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “As a result” help signal relationships between ideas. However, some connections are unclear or mechanical. For instance, “To more extend” does not clearly show how the next point follows, and the Pink Floyd example’s contrast between “the present” and “the past” is difficult to interpret. The final sentence is incomplete, which weakens the sense of closure. Use clearer transitions that express the precise relationship between claims, and make sure each paragraph develops its central idea in a logical sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt topic-specific vocabulary, including “identity,” “sentimental lyrics,” “instrumental,” and “emotional attachment,” and these choices help communicate your ideas about music and culture. There is also some effort to vary expression, such as describing music as a “powerful media of communication.” However, several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning less clear: “accumulate people” does not mean bring people together, and “converse people” is not a natural way to describe connecting age groups. Spelling errors such as “pelple,” “examle,” and “cutures” are noticeable, while “media” is also used awkwardly. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for discussing connection, cultural identity, and musical influence.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “music which carries identity” and a sentence beginning “when younger generation listen…”. This shows some range, but control is uneven. Examples include “I completely agree with that music can…” (the clause needs a different grammatical construction), “various culture” (number agreement), and “music has linked with culture which is differ…” (verb form and clause structure). The sentence about younger listeners also shifts awkwardly between “listen,” “they connect,” and “the older with past,” making the comparison hard to follow. The final sentence lacks a complete ending. Practise accurate clause patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete sentence construction while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
