Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few individuals have their opinion about music is that it is a best way of getting people of diverse cultures and ages together. To support my notion,I will make some practical arguements that will sustained with various compelling points. I would say I have balance reviews on this topic.
The perspective advocating that music has no boundries. Initially, I argue that, the individuals from different cultures have their own folk music. In addition to this, Music has always make other people connected to each other. Music brings joy to everyone life. I feel like, via music nations get chance to engage with other nations. Through music , one not just let the cultural diversity out however, it also gives the footprints of regional identity of that nation. In the contemporary world, individuals are so fond of listening and exploring new genre of music. One of the most prevelant instance is that; people of India and Pakistan are likely so much involved with each other's music. When they listen to some other nation music they explore their lanugauge as well about their cultural norms. In addition to this, I vividly remembered that once i got an opportunity to listened to Indian singer in Dubai. I was not just emotional attached to the lyrics but also to the hospitable people of different age group of the India. I got a chance to interact with them as well.
Paradoxically, I have also experienced when you have language barrier, you struggle so much knowing other nation cultural and history. You barely communite with other individuals. In addition to this, when you don't have interest in someone's language you would not also prefer to listen to their music. For example, During my visit to China, I rarely got chance to enjoy the cultural diversity of their nation. However, I wanted to know about them furthermore, due to not knowing their language I did not enjoy their music.
In conclusion, I would say I have mixed perspective about the given topic. I feel like when you are deeply rooted to other nation residents through their language then you enjoy every bit of their cultural and music. On the otherside, when you are not familer, to others nations language, you are less likely to know them about their cultural and regional identity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides of the question and give a mixed position, supported by examples involving Indian and Pakistani music and your experience in Dubai and China. These details make the response relevant, but your position is not fully clear at the start: “I have balance reviews” does not explain how far you agree, and the conclusion shifts toward language familiarity rather than directly judging music’s ability to unite people. Some points, such as music bringing “joy to everyone,” are asserted rather than explained, while the language-barrier argument is not clearly connected to whether music can still bring people together. State your degree of agreement directly and develop each example to show how it supports that position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting music’s unifying role, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. The examples generally appear in relevant places, and connectors such as “In addition to this” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several claims are placed together without clear links, and repeated transitions make the writing feel mechanical. For instance, the shift from music connecting nations to regional identity and then to your Dubai experience could be explained more explicitly. The conclusion also repeats the contrast without resolving it. Use clearer topic sentences and more precise referencing to show how each example advances your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “cultural diversity,” “regional identity,” “language barrier,” and “cultural norms.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond basic terms. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make ideas less clear: “balance reviews,” “the footprints of regional identity,” “prevelant instance,” and “familer” are examples. Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “enjoy every bit of their cultural and music.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than using ambitious phrases whose meaning is uncertain. Proofread spelling and word forms, and practise collocations such as “a balanced view,” “a prominent example,” and “cultural traditions.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “however,” and “due to,” so there is some variety in structure. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to process. For example, “Few individuals have their opinion about music is that…” combines incompatible sentence patterns, while “Music has always make other people connected” has an incorrect verb form and construction. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement, and tense, as in “everyone life” and “I vividly remembered that once i got an opportunity to listened.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent as well. Build accuracy first with shorter, complete sentences, then add subordinate clauses and check verb forms and sentence boundaries.
