Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are various cultures and ages people in this world. Some people opine that music is one of the best way of bringing people together of multiple cultures and ages. In my perspective, I totally agree with this. That said , there are also many alternatives which can bring people together.
The main reason why some believe that music is a good way for bringing people together from different side of country is it can be listened from any side of world. For example,If a person who doesn't experience about a country's culture through travel or something else , he can know about this culture through songs. Moreover, now a days people are so busy with their daily task thus , if they can get some time for listening music that allows them for knowing people from different country . It would be a great experience that can not be possible for their business.
On the other hand, music have been composed for several years. And thus, people can know or understand how their old generation was back then. Which is might not be possible that much through travelling or trying local food.
However, I believe there are also some ways of bringing people together , such as travelling , trying local food , watching related videos etc. Through travelling people can experience multiple cultures , try local food or communicate people from different background. For instance , every trips teaches me whether it's about a new country or even about myself.
To sum up, music is a excellent way of brining people together of various background.Additionally, there are also some ways which can bring people together.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you state, “I totally agree,” and return to the view that music brings people together in the conclusion. You give relevant reasons, including music’s accessibility across countries and its ability to offer insight into earlier generations, and you add travel and food as alternatives. However, the discussion does not fully explain how music specifically connects people of different ages, and the point about busy people is difficult to follow. The alternatives paragraph is relevant but takes space away from developing your main argument. To strengthen the response, explain the shared experience music creates across age groups and support each main reason with a clearer example or explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has an overall structure, with an introduction, separate discussion paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from music’s international reach to its connection with older generations is understandable, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “To sum up” help identify stages in the argument. However, “On the other hand” suggests a contrast that is not clearly established, since the paragraph continues to support music. Some links between ideas are also unclear, particularly the sentence about busy people and “their business.” The alternatives paragraph shifts attention away from the central position. Use more precise transitions, make each paragraph’s purpose explicit, and connect examples directly to the point they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “cultures,” “generation,” “experience,” and “background,” which allows you to discuss the topic. There are also attempts at less common or more specific expressions, such as “bringing people together” and “daily task.” However, several word choices and collocations are unnatural or imprecise, for example “from different side of country,” “experience about a country's culture,” and “a excellent way.” Spelling and word-form slips such as “brining” also reduce accuracy. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your main ideas, but they limit precision. Build a bank of natural topic phrases and check spelling, articles, and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if they can get some time for listening music” and a relative clause beginning “For example, if a person…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries make parts less clear. For instance, “music have been composed” should use a singular verb, while “Which is might not be possible” is not a complete, correctly formed sentence. The opening also contains a run-on structure, and punctuation around introductory phrases is inconsistent. Practise building accurate complex sentences, then check subject–verb agreement and whether each sentence has a complete main clause.
