Student answer (Band 5.5)
Music activities has become popular in contemporary world.
Some people believe that people of different cultures and ages come closer due to music. I firmly believe this view because social media and international concerts play significant role in this approach.
On the one hand, although people are living in different countries, they can know about several singers of any other country by using social media and different music related apps. World has become global village due to different kinds of social media platform. In which any kind of information is spread in seconds. For example, a vast majority of asian people follow korean music. they watch reels of korean music and feel calm and follow them for songs. Therefore social media provide people a good way to feel relax by listening songs of any culture.
On the other hand, international concerts are extremely popular in many countries. Singers travel from one area to anther area fron proformances. Millions of people from several culture and ages gather there for music. This is a better way to understand other cultures and this develops friendly relationship between people. Apart from people, this is great chance for singers to focus on other country music by meeting foregin singers. This events are not particularly important for people, it also boost economic development of countries. As a result, international concerts help to create good way for various countries music and people.
However, there are certain disavantages of listening foreign music. Most of youngest forget our own cultural values and wants to adopt other cultures.
In conclusion, bringing people of different cultures and ages together by music is good development. Social media and international concerts play essential role in this approach.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you firmly agree that music can bring people together, and you support it with two relevant routes—social media and international concerts. The examples of Asian listeners following Korean music and audiences gathering at concerts help address cultural connection, while you also mention age groups. However, the age-related point is not developed as clearly as the cultural one, and the brief concern that young people may forget their own values is introduced without explanation or a response to it. To strengthen the argument, explain more specifically how shared musical interests connect people of different generations, and develop the counterpoint before showing why your overall view remains positive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two main supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” make the direction of the argument easy to follow. Within paragraphs, however, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “World has become global village… In which any kind of information…” leaves the second sentence as a fragment, and “Apart from people” does not clearly show how the next idea connects. The disadvantage paragraph also appears suddenly and is not linked back to your position. Use clearer references and transitions, and connect each paragraph’s final point to the central argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “international concerts,” “cultural values,” “economic development,” and “friendly relationship.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and some phrases show an attempt to discuss the topic beyond basic description. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or repetitive, such as “feel calm” for the effect of music, “a good way to feel relax,” and “create good way for various countries music and people.” Spelling errors such as “anther,” “proformances,” and “foregin” also reduce precision. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, describe listeners as “relaxed” and say concerts “foster cultural exchange.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession (“although people are living in different countries”) and a contrast introduced by “However.” The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Subject–verb agreement is incorrect in “Music activities has become” and “this also boost”; articles are missing in “play significant role” and “World has become global village”; and the clause beginning “In which any kind of information…” is incomplete. There are also errors in plural and verb forms, as in “Most of youngest forget… and wants.” Work on agreement, articles, and complete sentence construction, then proofread each sentence to ensure its subject and verb match.
