The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The provided Diagram represents the layout of the park when it was initially inaugurated comparatively to the today's structure.

Overall, the visual data depicts the various alternations in the different sites of the grange park.

Initially in the 1920 park consists of numerous spots. Seating place was established in every corner for visitors. In the south of the park there was rose garden and glass house. Which is replaced by water feature in the southern east part of the park. Fountain is turned into rose garden with siting area around it in the centre of the park. Entrance and the rose park located on northern west remained exact after renovation.

However, stage for musicians is replaced by the amphitheatre for concerts in the west of the park. Lastly, pond for water plants is converted into designated area for children to play and cafe is introduced where rose garden was located just after entrance from Arnold avenue.
