The areas available in the park include children's play area, gardens, a cafe, a water features, a glasshouse, sitting area, pond, fountain, stage for musicians, Amphitheatre for concerts.

Overall, both public parks consist of similar facilities, but recent park contains modern features. The previous park looks spacious as compared to current park.

To begin with 1920s park, there was a fountain on the center of park just behind that, there was a stage for musicians. On the top entrance, two rose gardens were situated side by side. On the corner, small pond water was there specially for plants survival. On the bottom entrance gate, glasshouse was there. On the other hand, another rose garden was located. Additionally, seats were evenly distributed to eacg sides.

Current Park shows various alterations in facilities of park. Similarly, there was two entrance gates, one Arnold Avenue and another Eldon street. Conversely, underground parking was constructed to facilitate visitors. Fountain was replaced by modern water feature, that was situated on the right hand near the Eldon street. On the center of park, a substantial rose garden was surrounded by numerous seats. Beyond this, an Amphitheatre was occupied for concerts. Above it, there was another small rose garden. Cafe was launched in modern park on the right hand near the Arnold avenue. Similarly, play area for children was also located there.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response covers all key features of the two maps, providing a clear overview and comparing the 1920 layout with the current one. You successfully identified the main changes, such as the addition of the underground parking, the cafe, and the transformation of the water feature. However, the description of the locations is occasionally imprecise (e.g., 'on the top entrance' or 'on the bottom entrance gate'), which makes it slightly difficult for the reader to visualize the exact layout. To improve, ensure you use more precise directional language and group features more logically to highlight the transformation of the park's function over time.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is logically organized into four paragraphs: an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs detailing the two time periods. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'Conversely' to link ideas. However, the flow is sometimes hindered by repetitive sentence structures and mechanical transitions. For instance, the frequent use of 'On the...' at the start of sentences makes the writing feel a bit list-like. To reach a higher band, try to vary your sentence starters and use more sophisticated referencing to connect the changes between the two maps more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'alterations', 'substantial', and 'distributed'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'pond water was there specially for plants survival' and 'Amphitheatre was occupied for concerts'. Additionally, there are minor errors in article usage and pluralization (e.g., 'a water features', 'eacg sides'). While these do not impede communication, they prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on more precise collocations and ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement will strengthen your lexical performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a noticeable frequency of grammatical errors. Issues include missing articles ('on center of park'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing ('that was situated on the right hand'). While your meaning is generally clear, these errors occur throughout the text. To improve, pay closer attention to basic grammar rules, particularly the use of articles (a/the) and prepositions of place. Increasing your control over complex sentence structures—such as using relative clauses more accurately—will also help you achieve a higher score.
