Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have successfully identified the main features of the park's transformation, such as the addition of the underground car park and the conversion of the theatre. You provided a clear overview and compared the 1920 layout with the current one. However, the response could be improved by being more precise with spatial descriptions. For instance, mentioning the specific locations of the new rose garden or cafe relative to the entrances would have provided a more comprehensive summary. While you covered the main changes, some details are slightly vague, such as the reference to 'new showcases'. Overall, you have addressed the requirements of the task well.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is logically organized into an introduction, a body paragraph detailing the changes, and a conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Initially', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly forced, such as 'In point of this case'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the overview from the specific details. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices more naturally to connect your ideas, ensuring that the progression of information feels seamless rather than list-like.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to describe the changes effectively. You use terms like 'renovations', 'infrastructure', and 'intact' correctly. However, there are several spelling errors ('inagurated', 'amnities', 'infrastucture') and some awkward phrasing, such as 'Garden have been improvised'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the score. To improve, focus on proofreading for common spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more precise collocations related to urban planning or landscape changes, such as 'undergone significant redevelopment' instead of 'been through many updates'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt to use complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('Garden have been', 'many other amnities has added') and article usage ('theatre for concerts is changed'). Some sentences are also slightly ungrammatical, such as 'New buildings took place in accord with need to manage larger people'. While these errors rarely prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they are persistent throughout the text. Increasing your focus on basic grammatical accuracy and refining your control over complex structures will help improve your score.
