IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The map of Grange Park located in Arnold Avenue Eldon Street shows, in 1920 was styled differently prior, like the Rose Garden which was situated at the both side of North East and West, in the middle there was Entrance which remain same even with the today's structure.

There was fountain in the previous map which removed and Rose Garden from the Top Right is moved to the place of fountain in the new construction, also seating placed in the surrounding of it, these seats were at the edges of the area previously. The stage for musicians is changed as Amphitheatre for concerts and the area is extended to removed the edges seats from the left sides. Pond for water plants which was built at the top most right of the map got vanished after making a new children's play area at the place of it. Lastly, the glasshouse was converted into the Water feature area exactly at the opposite side at the bottom of the children play area and cafe which is now at the upward right Rose Garden place.
