The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

THE DIAGRAM ILLUSTRATES THE LAYOUT OF GRANGE PARK IN 1920 AND THE PRESENT DAY.

OVERALL, GRANGE PARK IS A PUBLIC PARK AND HAD FIRST OPENED IN 1920. THERE HAS BEEN SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PARK. THE STAGE WHICH WAS FOR MUSICIANS THEN IS NOW CONVERTED TO AN AMPHITHEATRE FOR CONCERTS. ADDITIONALLY, FOUNTAIN IS REPLACED BY THE ROSE GARDEN SURROUNDED BY SEATING AREA.

THE ENTRANCES TO THE PARK REMAIN THE SAME IN BOTH THE YEARS, ARNOLD AVENUE IN THE NORTH AND ELDON STREET TO THE SOUTH. GLASSHOUSE TO THE SOUTH EAST ENTRANCE IS NOW CONVERTED TO A WATER FEATURE, AND TO THE RIGHT OF THIS IS THE ENTRANCE TO THE UNDERGROUND CAR PARK. THE FOUNTAIN WHICH WAS AT THE CENTRE OF THE SITE IS NOW CONSTRUCTED TO A ROSE GARDEN, WITH SEATS AROUND IT. THE ROSE GARDEN AND SEATS IN THE SOUTH WEST AREA IS NOW DEMOLISHED.

TO THE NORTH EAST ENTRANCE, ROSE GARDEN AND POND FOR WATER PLANTS ARE NOW REPLACED BY A CAFE AND CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA REPSECTIVELY. STAGE FOR MUSICIANS ON THE WEST IS CONVERTED TO AN AMPHITHEATRE FOR CONCERTS. ROSE GARDEN IN THE NORTH-WEST STILL REMAINS AT THE SAME LOCATION, HOWEVER SEATS SURROUNDING IT ARE REMOVED.
