The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The rendered maps depict information about a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Overall, the grange park experienced many changes. The major change in stage for musicians and fountain transform into amphitheatre for concerts and rose garden, whereas entrance has no change.

In 1920, in North and South there was entrance of grange park. In the left and right side of entrance there was rose garden. Pond for water plants located in North East side. In the centre area covered with stage for musicians and fountain. The glasshouse area near the entrance of Eldon street in South. Seats were available all the sides.

In case of present, there are many changes. The major transformation in stage for musicians and fountain which is transform in amphitheatre for concerts and rose garden which is middle of the park. Around the rose garden seats are built. In the North East side there is children play area in the down of them water feature is built in the right corner. Right rose garden is changes to cafe, while entrance and left side rose garden has no change.
