IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The layout sows the updates has done from the starting year of 1920 to current day of Grange Park.

Overall, the park had major changes with Rose garden, Amphitheatre for concerts and a Water feature also there are some noticeable smaller updates have done in reduction of older Rose gardens, Seats allocation and Glasshouse replacement with a Cafe.

Fisrtly, park have seen a remarkable changes with Rose gardens reduction to single one, Stage for musicians has a massive update with Amphitheatre for concerts it increased double in the size as compared to older. And there is a huge Water feature was renovated by removing of Pond for water plants.

Secondly, all the seats are relocated and surrounded by bigger Rose garden at the centre of attraction, it is a great work by park management. And Glasshouse completely restructured with Cafe. Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street are remain in the same place without any change from the past year of 1920 to till the date.
