IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The two blue prints illustrate the development that has been taken place in public park from when it was first opened in 1920 to now.

To commence with Grange park, in 1920 it consist pond for water plant but now it have fully replaced with kids park. However, instead of seats and glasshouse which was located in east-south corner now water feature has been developed there which consist a great view. Although, firstly in the centre fountain was there but now it transformed in rose garden with four seats. while, after the top entrance of park rose garden was located but it is now changed with a new cafe.

Probing further, Both west side seats had been removed with stage for musicians and latest amphitheatre for concerts have opened which demonstrate a great development. Moreover, rose garden and seats was modified by empty space.

Overall, it can be seen that the map calibrated plenty of modification in it and except entrance all things has been variation with suitable infrastructure.
