The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The plans illustrate Grange Park before and after it's remodeling.

The plans are visual depiction of the changes made in Grange park after the rennovation. The main features added to the park are an extravegant amphitheatre and amenities for children.

Overall, the most prominent changes in the park are arranging the seats around rose garden and accumulating all the small rose gardens into one central garden. A cafe and children's play area are also introduced in the NorthWest of the park.

The fountain has also been removed from the centre of the garden and remodeled in the West of the garden. The stage for musicians has also been transformed into an amphitheater for concerts. An underground car park has also been introduced to reduce the bottle neck area of traffic.

A few amenities have been removed completely from the park like the glass house and the pond for water plants.
