IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The plans illustrates the grange public park when it first opened in 1920 and other shows the same park at present times.

In 1920, the entrance was from the middle of the park and a fountain was located at the center of park.

Whereas, the entrance remains in same place but there was a rose garden surrounded by seats in place of fountain at present time. The area of pond is now converted into children play area and a cafe is also now available near the entrance. A new water feature is built at south-east of park. The place for musicians is now converted into amphitheatre for concerts. A new underground basement is built for car park. The glasshouse is completely removed from the park. The rose garden near musicians area in 1920 is remained at same place today.

Overall, everything were get changed as compared to which was in 1920.
