this picture is a map of an public park opened in late 19s and later it was modifyied by the developers later, its maps and composition was changed.

In past, there is the entrance at the center of the park and both in the bottom and the top the park and there was a fountain at the center which was changed with a rose garden along with chairs on its side, all the chairs were removed from the park and placed right here in the rose garden.

And if we talk about the right side of park there was a glass house, rose garden and a pond of plants which is replaced by a cafe an area for children play, and a water feature at the lower end.

And the left side of park there was a stage for musicians and rose garden at both its end and with the chairs on left side, which were replaced by the amphitheatre for concerts and the rose garden remaind the same at the top side of that but the chair wasd removed.

in conclusion, the park was changed alot, a new cafew was added and a bigger roze garden was build there

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response successfully covers all the main features of the public park in both 1920 and the present day. You have attempted to make relevant comparisons, such as noting how the original fountain was replaced by a rose garden and how the glass house and pond were converted into a cafe and a children's play area. However, the development of information is somewhat limited and lacks a clear overview paragraph summarising the most salient trends. Phrases like 'this picture is a map of an public park opened in late 19s' demonstrate an attempt to introduce the task, but the execution lacks precision in selecting key highlights. To reach a higher band, ensure you include a distinct overview paragraph outlining the primary transformation of the park from a passive green space to a more recreational facility.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay exhibits some organization by dividing the descriptions into the central area, right side, and left side of the park. However, there is no clear overall progression or introduction of a cohesive structure. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the main body compressed into overly long, run-on sentences using repetitive conjunctions like 'And if we talk about' and 'And the left side of park'. Cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate, repetitive, or mechanical. For instance, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'placed right here in the rose garden' where the spatial anchor is vague. To improve, you should break down complex spatial descriptions into shorter, logically sequenced sentences and use a wider variety of cohesive markers to guide the reader seamlessly through the comparison.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive throughout the response. You rely heavily on simple terms like 'park', 'changed', 'rose garden', and 'chairs'. There are also several noticeable lexical errors and awkward word choices, such as 'modifyied', 'an public park', 'late 19s' (instead of the 1920s), 'cafew', and 'roze garden'. While the meaning remains generally clear despite these errors, the range of vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for the task. To achieve a higher band score, you should incorporate a wider variety of precise synonyms and paraphrasing, such as 'transformed', 'converted', 'redeveloped', and 'amenities', while paying closer attention to spelling and standard collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures. Most sentences are simple or awkwardly linked compound sentences that lack structural variety. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including tense inconsistencies (e.g., mixing past descriptions with present forms like 'there is the entrance', 'which is replaced'), missing articles (e.g., 'at center of the park'), and incorrect prepositions. For example, 'the rose garden remaind the same at the top side of that but the chair wasd removed' contains spelling and agreement errors alongside a weak structural clause. These persistent errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring consistent past-tense usage for historical descriptions, and reducing the frequency of mechanical errors.
