IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The map illustrates the drastic changes in the Green Park which is located in Eldon Steet for over a century and it is undergone a recent renovation with lot of changes.
The park consist two entrances in two different streets and when we walk through the entrance of Arnold avenue there was a significant changes, which is the seat to the left was removed and to the right the rose garden was replaced by fantabolous cafe. Furthermore, to the far right corner the Pond for plants was completely subisituted by a Children's play area. Moreover, the Rose garden to the far left corner was completely remained changed.
When we walk through the entrance of Eldon Street, we can visually recognise a dramatic improvement which is to the left the Glasshouse was interchanged with Water feature with entrance in the east gate.And the to the
