The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The plan demonstate the how the planning of the Grange park has evolved from 1920 to the rpesent day. By a bird's view, we can analyze that it has been optimized for better usage of space and locations are used with proper planning and futuriztic approch.

Starting with the the rose garden, back in 1920 there were three small gardens in opposite sides of the venue but now they have been merged to single bigger and squarish garden in the center in front of the entrance.which enhance the beatuty of it.

Second major upgrade it the evolving of stage to an Amphitheter and the Seat that were in surrounding the stage and limiting the view of the audiance, Now Seats are infront of the theater, giving the audiance a proper view to the scene.

Cafe and children playing area are striking innovations to the park, providing refreshment to the people and a specific portion for the children to play.

Rest, the water feature has just been shifter to opposite side.

Overall , the update is a better use of space providing more amusment within same resources with innovative approch.
