The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The plan gives information about how Grange park looks like in 1920 and its transformation at present day.
Overall, park has been totally transformed and upgrade with new and advance facilities. Fountain that is located at the centre changed in to rose garden and stage for musicians upgrade into advance amphitheatre.
Entrance remained at the same place. Fountain that was situated at the middle of park replaced by rose garden that is covered from four side with seats for visitors. In the east side of park, old rose garden converted into café, and pond for water plants that was at the corner in 1920 shifted at the opposite side that has water features. Children's play area constructed at the place of old pond.
In the west side, old stage for musicians, rose garden and seats removed with modren amphitheatre for concerts that has one rose garden in the westnorth direction.
