The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The plans which are given below illustrate a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Basically, the plans are comparing the past of the park and it's present. The park is known as "GRANGE PARK" and it was first opened in 1920.
In past, The public park was consist of two main entrances, two rose gardens, a fountain, a pond for water plants, a glasshouse, a stage for musicians and seats which were setted in all these places. As time passes, the owners decided to renovate it and they made it more spacious and beautiful.
Now in present, the park looks more charming and more things are added to it. Now, there are three entrances, the two entrances are same but the third entrance is underground for car paking. Now there is a cafe for breakfast, lunch and dinner, play area for children, an amphitheatre for concerts is also added in the park. There are also two rose garden but one rose garden is in the middle of the park and there are 4 type of seats for the visitors around the middle rose garden.
