IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 4.0)

The charts below shows a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today . As we can see that the park name is same as comparison with 1920 name like Grange park . In the first part of the picture , i can clearly saw a Fountain in the middle of the park and in the left side of the fountain there was a stage for musicians . The entrance was in both side of i think north and west witdh of the area . At the right side of the antrance there was a rose garden and beside it here was a pond for water plants , then seats are nest to the ponds . There was also 4 more areas for sitting , and two more areas of rose garden . In conclusion ; the park was in 1920 not much advanced it seems so boring.

But if we look at the todays park we look more features in it and its look more interesting today . There is also an cafe included , children's play area and a big amphitheatre for concerts .

Todays park is more up to date as comparison to the old once.
