IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the first diagram we can see that there are two entrances one from Arnold Avenue and the second one is from Eldon Street.If we enter from the Arnold Avenue on the right side are the seats and beside it a rose garden and on the right side of rose garden there is more seating area there three rose gardens in older on on the three croners and seats are available all over the park.There fountain in the centre of the park and on the right side of fountain there is stage for musicians.If we compare it with new one there are still two entrance but the also the additional entrance for car park from Eldon Street.In the centre of park we have a rose garden and seating space around it.From the Eldon street entrance we have Amphitheator for concerts and another rose garden and on the right side of it we have water feature and also children's play area.In the end we have a cafe for chilling with friends.
