The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

The process diagram compares Public Park when it first opened in 1920 and same park today.

Overall, There are many new developments in the new park, Aslo numerous old buildings converted to new ones. Cafe, Amphitheater, children play area and car parking are the new constructions. Main entrance remained unchanged.

Seats and rose garden replaced by fountain in old park while main entrance stayed same.Stage for musician changed to the latest amphitheater, Furthermore pond for water plant also removed and children play area added into new park. Instead of glasshouse there is water feature in new park. In food, Cafe is also build in the park and there is underground car parking space. One major change is the location of rose garden in new park and the seats around it, which most noticeable for visitors.

In general, new park is more developed, comfortable and has more facilities as compared to old park,
