The plans show the public park when it was opened in 1920 and the park today.

That plan after is better because there is rose garden in which people can sit and enjoy the view of the garden and also there is a corner in a park where childrens can play and also there is cafa for the peoples who visits the park and enjoy the drink and also get the view the park. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

The response identifies the park plans and mentions several present-day features, including the rose garden, children’s play area, café and western amphitheatre. However, it does not provide a clear overview of the main changes between 1920 and today, and some details are missing or inaccurate: the water feature is in the south-east corner, not described as being for people sitting in the rose garden, and the response does not explain what it replaced. The comparison with the original park is very limited, so the task is only partially addressed. The response is also 35 words below the required minimum. To improve, summarise the major changes and compare the locations and former uses of key features in both plans.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to connect ideas using phrases such as “and also” and “On the other hand,” but the response does not develop a clear sequence for comparing the two plans. Most information is crowded into one long sentence, making the relationships between features difficult to follow. The final fragment, “The gadren,” leaves the response unfinished, and there is no clear paragraph structure or concluding overview. Organise the description into a short introduction, an overview of the main changes, and paragraphs comparing the western and eastern or northern and southern areas. Use linking expressions selectively and make sure each sentence presents one clear comparison.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some relevant vocabulary for describing a park, including “rose garden,” “amphitheatre,” “water feature” and “corner.” This gives the reader a basic sense of the places being discussed. However, the range is limited and several choices or forms are inaccurate, such as “cafa,” “gadren,” “childrens” and “the peoples.” Repeated wording such as “there is” and “enjoy” also makes the description less precise. Use map-description vocabulary to report changes, for example “was replaced by,” “is located in” and “remains unchanged.” Check spelling and use more precise terms for the park’s features and their positions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts to combine ideas with clauses, as in “where childrens can play,” but most of the writing relies on a long chain of simple clauses joined by “and also.” This creates faulty sentence structure and makes some relationships unclear. There are also errors in articles and agreement, including “a amphitheatre” and “the peoples who visits”; the past and present descriptions are not consistently distinguished. The final phrase is incomplete, so it does not form a grammatical sentence. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences and use past tense for the 1920 plan and present tense for the current plan. Check article choice, subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
