Student answer (Band 5.5)

To begin with, some university pupils eager to learn other related subjects alongwith special subjects but some of them do not want to follow this pattern. Furthure, they engage them in studies just for the sake of qualifications. Here, i will highlight the opine of two different kinds of people who have narrated their own personal views. According to me, i will state some related causes and effects with examples .

To embark upon, university student want to acquire knowledge in all the subjects either they are compulsory or not. One main reason of this is that they want to adept in all sort of feilds. Second reason is that they want to become expertized and experienced pupils of the society. Lastly, they wanted to made their future secure and stable, it will be possible if they attain advance knowledge about related feilds and theories. As a result their keen obwervation ragarding all subjects enable them to find extra oppurtunities in job faculties.

On the other hand, many people lie against of it, they said that it is important to spend extra hours in studies to maintain a pace of formality. Because they wanted to qualify themselves at any cost. Correspondingly, one reason behind it follow as they do not want to find jobs in any special feilds. Also such people want to tag themseves a bechlor or master degree holder, but not for the sake of job faculties respectively. In result, they follow up simple study pattern of univerties while ignoring the specification of feilds or resource subjects.

In conclusion, i must conclude my own view in regard of those who study major subjects of science, mathematics ,historical or sociological subjects. Hence they could meet the resources and maximum possiblities to search jobs. To rely on common subject or degree is not enough, we should also endeover our adults or teenageer to study all kind of subjects to make future powerful and stable one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views: the first body paragraph presents reasons for studying additional subjects, while the second describes students who focus on qualifications. Your conclusion also indicates a preference for broader study. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening says you will present “the opine of two different kinds of people,” and the conclusion shifts to encouraging students to study “all kind of subjects” without clearly explaining how this balances the two views. Several supporting points, such as becoming “expertized” or making the future “powerful,” are asserted rather than explained with a specific example. Develop the consequences of each approach and state your own view directly, then support it with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear relationships. For example, the second body paragraph moves from spending extra hours studying to not wanting jobs in special fields, then to holding a degree, without explaining the links. Some connectors, including “Correspondingly” and “In result,” do not clearly express the intended relationship, and the conclusion repeats the idea of securing the future rather than synthesising the discussion. Organise each paragraph around one main claim and connect each reason to its explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “qualification,” “compulsory,” “knowledge,” and “opportunities,” and the reader can generally identify the subject of your argument. However, word choice, collocation, and spelling errors are frequent enough to make some ideas unclear. Phrases such as “adept in all sort of fields,” “expertized and experienced pupils,” and “job faculties” are not natural in this context; “lie against of it” also obscures the intended meaning. There are repeated spelling errors, including “Furthure,” “feilds,” and “obwervation.” Build accuracy by learning common academic collocations and checking spelling, and choose precise terms such as “career opportunities” rather than translating phrases literally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “it will be possible if they attain advance knowledge.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries occur throughout. For example, “university student want” needs plural agreement, while “they wanted to made” combines verb forms incorrectly. The opening also joins contrasting clauses with a comma, and “Because they wanted to qualify themselves” is left as a fragment. These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected subordinate clause, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms.
