Student answer (Band 6.5)
There have been ongoing debate on whether university students have to learn another subject or not including their major subjects. While some learners argue that they sought to learned another subjects along with their curriculum course; However, other believes that it is better to provide their full potential on qualification. This essay is intended to examine both viewpoints before representing my opinion.
The first and foremost reason for why universities pupil wants to learn additional subjects with their curriculum course is that they want to explore more subjects, due to which they would able to configured in which course they are well suited. A lot of youngster choose different course because of their parents pressure, not sure and influenced by other. So, while learning other subjects they get exposure in which they interested are. Another significant factor is they want to cope up with the milestone innovations. In the recent time, the technology is burgeoning such as artificial intellegence, owing to this they want to explore every field shoulder to shoulder as like their experts so they can able to implement that when having unprecedent problem and to generate extra source of income. Therefore, a significant numbers of university students wants to learn other subjects.
On the other hand, it is also irrefutable that they have to give full time and attention to study for their opted certify course. Predominately, if the students learn other subjects they lack interest from their major period, result in, it highly effect on their result, they not able acquire full knowledge and remains in dilemma. Despite of this, having other subject create onus for certain attenders, because in every fields courses are too vast and long, due to which managing time and learning other field subjects is not a cup of everyone tea. Even though, it not only create burden for students, but also lower their moral spirit and confidence.
In a nutshell, there are several reasons why students want to acquired other streams knowledge because they want to explore which subject they found more fascinated and stay connected to the innovated world. Nevertheless, it is also inevitable that it create a onus on the learners, lack interest from their certified course and dwindled their morality. Therefore, as per my perspective this should have to be optional, if students want to enrolled into another course they can and if not they can free to.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both viewpoints and providing a clear opinion in the conclusion. The ideas are relevant, such as the need for exploration versus the pressure of a heavy workload. However, some arguments are under-developed or slightly repetitive. For instance, the point about 'artificial intelligence' is a good attempt at a modern example, but the explanation of how it relates to the workload is slightly unclear. The position is consistent throughout, and the essay structure is logical, though the development of ideas could be more nuanced to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first and foremost reason', 'On the other hand', and 'In a nutshell'. However, there is some mechanical use of these devices, and some transitions are slightly awkward, such as the use of 'However' after a semicolon in the introduction. Referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed due to grammatical errors, which occasionally impacts the smooth progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task, with attempts to use less common items like 'burgeoning', 'unprecedent', and 'irrefutable'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'configured in which course', 'opted certify course', and 'dwindled their morality'. These errors do not impede communication, but they demonstrate a lack of precision. The student uses some repetitive phrasing, and the control over academic vocabulary is inconsistent, which limits the score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms ('they sought to learned', 'students wants to acquired') and sentence construction ('due to which they would able to configured'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, notably the misuse of semicolons and commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and subject-verb agreement prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on proofreading for basic tense and agreement errors.
