Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few university students wants to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects. where other wants to focus on the qualification .
If we agree to students to add the new subjects into their main subject that will beneficial for students to learn some new knowledge with students does not before in their life. For eg. lets say add some AI or Language classes into their main subjects it will beneficial for them to achieving new heights in their domain.
And on the other side of hand who believe not to add more subjects into the main subject they have other level of understanding that they want to concentrate more of their time in main subjects .Which they have to qualify for the degree and adding other subject increase presser of study
In my opinion ,adding some subject will be beneficial for the students because that subjects soar their knowledge and study different types of language which help them to get their jobs after the graduation .But not to increase the burden of study you have to find right syllabus for the student which they easily remember.
In conclusion, few students wants to add other subjects into their main subjects .other doesnt want to add subjects into main subjects because they want to focus more in main subjects .Opinion of mine is that introduce some new subjects to them because it will be beneficial for the students in the future and help them to get better jobs in future

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the argument regarding the 'pressure of study' is mentioned but not fully explored or supported with specific, logical consequences. The essay tends to repeat the same points in the conclusion as in the body paragraphs, which limits the depth of the discussion. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your reasons with more detailed explanations or concrete examples, ensuring that each paragraph contributes new information rather than restating previous points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'And on the other side of hand' and 'Which they have to qualify'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of ideas. The transition between sentences is often abrupt, and the lack of varied linking words makes the text feel repetitive. Improving the use of transition signals and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'subjects', 'main', and 'beneficial'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'soar their knowledge' (which is not a standard collocation) and 'increase presser of study' (spelling error: pressure). While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is not sufficient to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. You should focus on learning topic-specific collocations and using a wider variety of synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('students wants', 'other wants') and incorrect sentence structures ('where other wants to focus', 'which they easily remember'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing or misplaced commas. While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often faulty, which can cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, you need to focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that clauses are connected correctly. Reducing the frequency of these errors is essential for achieving a higher band score.
