Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary era, to learn additional subject will help in individual's life. Due to that many universities believe that it is pivotal to focused on multiple subject instead of main subject. Whereas, some intellectuals think that it is necessary to contribute all the time and concentration on completing a qualification. This essay will articulate both the percpective along with my own view.
To commence with the first view, have knowledge in various field helps that individual in their future. To be more precise, majority of multi national companies want their employees multi-talented. which is helpful for their company's growth. For instance, an employee who worked in administration department and also know about the human resources department makes themself more liable and confident. Consequently, that employee will increases the chances of promotion This kind of talent will make themself more dignified.
On the other hand, to be more focused on completing the qualification is also necessary. To elaborate further on this point, as not all students are capable to read various subject at a time. Instead of that, it is better to focusing on graduation. To exemplify, average student who is not compatible to learn additional subjects and got less marks in the exam or may be not qualified in exam. which leads to dropback a year. As a result, students can not only get less marks but also face a failure can badly affect to their further future.
According to my perception, students who are not capable to learn additional subjects can only focusing on thier qualification. which makes them easier.
To recapitulate, students have to learn additional subjects. However, primararily they get focusing on their qualification. Though both view point have merits. however, I believe that students do not get more pressurised to the own.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether students should learn additional subjects or focus solely on their main qualification, and it presents a clear position. The ideas are generally relevant, such as mentioning the benefits of multi-skilling for multinational companies and the risk of academic overload for struggling students. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on employees in administration and human resources departments is underdeveloped, and the conclusion is slightly contradictory and unclear regarding your final stance. Therefore, the response fulfills the basic task requirements adequately, aligning best with a Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response into introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct points of view. However, cohesion is frequently mechanical and sometimes faulty. For example, transitional phrases like "To commence with the first view" and "To elaborate further on this point" are overused and formulaic. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as the dangling clause "which is helpful for their company's growth" starting a new sentence without a clear subject, and pronoun referencing in the final paragraph can be confusing for the reader.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as "contemporary era," "pivotal," "multi-talented," and "dignified." However, there are noticeable lexical and collocation errors throughout the text, such as "focused" instead of "focus," "read various subject" instead of "study various subjects," and "dropback a year" instead of "repeating a year" or "falling behind." Word choice inaccuracies like "liable" instead of "valuable" or "capable" occasionally impede clarity. The range is sufficient to communicate basic ideas, but spelling and word choice errors place this firmly at a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical control is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structures. Examples include "to learn additional subject will help" (infinitive subject error), "majority of multi national companies want their employees multi-talented" (missing infinitive verb), and "students do not get more pressurised to the own." Punctuation errors are also present, notably sentence fragments starting with relative pronouns like ". which is helpful..." and ". which leads to dropback a year." While the meaning is usually retrievable, the high frequency of grammatical errors prevents the score from reaching a Band 6.
