Student answer (Band 5.0)
there are some students of university whose desire is to learn about other subjects with their main subject that they choose for their degree in extra . On the other hand some of the students believe that all their time and attention should be specifically assign for their qualification. Here we know about these views.
many students who thinks that if they can learn more subjects other than their main one they can attain many knowledge which can be useful in their field . for example the student who choose physics for the bachelor program and learn something about computer or about programing can be very helpful. as there are many fields of physics that require skills about computer . or if you do not learn about computer skills you can not compete the market and even you can not present your findings or researches to others .
so its more important to learn something else with your main course . it can help you in your next degree and your professional life . it also enhance your abilities and polish you.
others opinion is that it is important to give all attention and time to your qualification . like do the best in your chosen field and become the master with no other option .in this way you can give all your intensions to one subject and studying for qualification .
here i support with the first one opinion which is to include other subject in addition to their main subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views—studying additional subjects versus focusing exclusively on one's main qualification—and provides the writer's personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat simplistic. For instance, the example regarding a physics student learning computer programming is relevant, but the explanation remains underdeveloped and brief. The position is stated at the end rather than maintained clearly throughout the essay. While the prompt is addressed, the overall depth corresponds to a Band 5.0 level due to the lack of fully extended arguments and generalisation in supporting points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is organized into paragraphs representing an introduction, body points, and a conclusion, showing some basic structure. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and transitions between paragraphs are abrupt. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes inaccurate, such as starting sentences with lowercase letters and using conversational links like 'Here we know about these views' and 'so its more important'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'it'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal organization lacks logical flow. These features place the response firmly at Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with words like 'subjects', 'student', and 'qualification' recurring frequently. There are noticeable lexical limitations and word choice errors, such as 'specifically assign for' instead of 'assigned to' and 'attain many knowledge' instead of 'acquire a lot of knowledge'. Spelling and capitalization errors are widespread (e.g., lowercase 'i', 'university students whose desire', 'programing'). The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, but the frequent errors and lack of less common lexical items reflect a Band 4.5, rounding to Band 5.0 descriptors for communicative adequacy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex clauses. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('many students who thinks'), missing articles, incorrect prepositions ('support with the first one opinion'), and punctuation failures. Many sentences contain multiple errors that cause difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning, such as 'or if you do not learn about computer skills you can not compete the market'. These frequent grammatical inaccuracies place the response at a Band 4.0 level.
