Its very Important to know that all students have there own choices and capacity in academic. On my personal experience in my 1st year of college i have been chosen 2 other subjects. i have been pursuing bachelor of commerce although its already included subjects such as accounts, economics, management and audit but i want to include other main subjects so i go with banking as well as fiance. its really helpful to me in 3 yaers of university journey nevertheless its not easy to balance but its works with time management and patience.
on the other hand some students see its as a worng decision because they want to focus more on main subjects and its waste of time and focus. and its completely fine to learn the same subjects as its hard to handle both for some students furthermore they believe that by not learning other subjects its helps them to get high score in course subjects which helps to improve their GPA.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether university students should learn other subjects or focus solely on their main qualifications, and the writer provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant and supported with a personal example regarding college subjects such as banking and finance. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat limited and repetitive, with generalisations regarding job markets and modern life. While the main arguments are identifiable, they lack deeper extension, placing the response firmly at Band 6.0 in accordance with the task achievement descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphs introducing different perspectives. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. Basic cohesive devices and transition phrases like 'on the other hand' and 'furthermore' are used, but referencing and sentence linking are sometimes unclear, as seen in run-on sentences without appropriate punctuation. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal logical progression is occasionally hindered by abrupt shifts between ideas and personal anecdotes, resulting in a Band 5.5 score.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms related to higher education, such as 'qualification', 'academic', 'management', and 'GPA'. There are several noticeable lexical errors, such as spelling mistakes ('fiance' instead of 'finance', 'worng' instead of 'wrong') and awkward word choices ('go with banking'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they restrict the lexical score to Band 5.5 as the range is limited and occasional inaccuracies cause minor confusion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently flawed. There are frequent grammatical errors involving subject-verb agreement ('the some university students wants', 'students wants'), articles ('in perspective of studys'), and punctuation, particularly missing full stops and capital letters at the beginnings of sentences. Although the general meaning remains understandable, the high frequency of basic grammatical errors places this text at Band 5.0.
