Some university students want to learn about other subjects in addition to their main subjects. Student answer (Band 5.5)

Few university have experience that students are interesed in optional subject and desire to add it with their core subjects. On the other hand their are some how believes that to have a qulifation, their must give whole fouse toward important onces. Further more it is true that to have a better porfessional life their is a need for excilent scores and skill sets in main subjects but, i do not agree with this because other addtional concepts play a crusial role in everyday life such as techniques used in society.

The primary reason for them who thinks that optional subjets are wast of time. As the organised system is followed in socity where everyone need to pick a specific field in which their want expertise. Because, the individual can only be trained in one perticular skill set as per the professional organizational body. For example, In the field of doctor their are many different areas to have qulification, but need to select one to have professional experence. Therefore giving large amount of time to perticular subject is the requirement need for degree.

Another thing to consider is the other cirriculum subjects have a significant value in person life. This is because the knowledge related to finance managment and under standing about social culture is crucial for surviving in community. For instance, If the lawyer know only about laws and skills need in his work , he could not able to face the socity where he livies and the reason is he never learn the basic things like porper used of money, how to react in critical situation which lead to isolation. Thereby, extra activities beside the perticual fields provide a gernal information about world.

In conclution, it is important to give good number of time on main subjects for better development in topics and bulid experence related in work. However, the different addition subjects provide various significant lessons and roles social and that can be skills and understanding necessary for future, and i agree with it due to its flexcibility helpful to human.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on university subjects and providing the writer's own opinion. A clear position is stated in the introduction ("i do not agree with this because other addtional concepts play a crusial role") and maintained throughout the essay. The ideas are extended and supported, such as the example of a lawyer needing general life skills to survive in society. However, there is a tendency to over-generalise and some arguments are slightly repetitive or under-developed. For instance, the discussion on how optional subjects aid personal development could be explored with more precision. Nevertheless, the main task requirements are successfully met, placing the response firmly at Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure separating the introduction, the two body paragraphs exploring different views, and the conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are noticeable issues with referencing ("for them who thinks", "their want") and linking phrases ("Further more", "Another thing to consider is the other cirriculum subjects"). Paragraphing is used appropriately to segment ideas, but the flow between sentences is sometimes disrupted by awkward transitions and grammatical errors. Overall, the organizational structure is visible, but the cohesive devices are inadequate or inaccurate in several places, corresponding to a Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The lexical resource is limited and adequate for the task, but noticeably impacted by frequent spelling and word-choice errors. Examples include "interesed" (interested), "qulifation" (qualification), "fouse" (focus), "onces" (ones), "porfessional" (professional), "excilent" (excellent), "crusial" (crucial), "wast" (waste), "socity" (society), "perticular" (particular), "managment" (management), "gernal" (general), and "flexcibility" (flexibility). While the student attempts less common vocabulary such as "professional organizational body" and "isolation", the high density of spelling mistakes and awkward collocations ("proper used of money") causes some difficulty for the reader and restricts the score to a Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as conditional structures and subordinate clauses ("If the lawyer know only about laws and skills need in his work , he could not able to face the socity where he livies"). However, control over grammar is weak, with frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. Examples include "Few university have experience that students are interesed", "their are some how believes", and missing articles. These persistent errors often cause difficulty for the reader and demonstrate limited accuracy in complex structures, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors.
