Student answer (Band 5.0)

The question of wether univrsity education has generated considerable debate.whilw some people argu that university graduated want to read other courses in adding their core topics, Other maintain that it is more significant to provide all their duration and attention to examining for a eductional background. This eassay will examine both prespectives before explaning why i belive that university graduate must be explore other curiculam studies to enhnace their skills.

On the one hand, proponents of university learners argue that, they want to explore some extra courses including their special subjects. This is largly because, Students in higher education want to seek some extra knoweldgeby other fields, so that they can easily go through their thoughts regarding the study. For example , If student examin other catogery knoweldge like management student want explore all lab technology, They can easily perform jobs in their filed if they are free from their related filed. Consequently they lease toward the success easily.

On the other hand, some supporters argue that, they shoul spent all the time on their specife subjects. This is primerly because, attention on specific course can enhance the ability to grip the specific course. for instance, it students only rely on their fields courses, they can easily get high band scores in their degree and get good jobs on their related fields area. From my prespevctive this argument is more convencing because we se can focuse mannerly only on specific fields at a specific time.we can easily double mind when we choose diffrent fields of studies. we cannaoe focuse on our desired studies.

in conclusion, both prespectives ahve their merits.nevertheless, i am of the openion that we can work on a one fields at a specific time, because we dont have enough time or proper guider to seek the other studies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether students should explore other subjects or focus solely on their core studies, and the writer presents a clear position. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times repetitive. For instance, the discussion on why students want to learn extra subjects relies on generalized notions without strong, fully explained examples. The argument in the second body paragraph shifts slightly between supporting extra subjects and then supporting focusing on core subjects in the conclusion, reflecting some inconsistency in fully developing the position throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, dividing the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion distinctly. Information is generally sequenced logically, starting with an introduction, exploring both perspectives in the body, and summarizing at the end. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or faulty. Cohesive devices are used, but referencing is occasionally unclear, and transitional phrases like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are relied upon without always ensuring seamless logical transitions between sentences, such as the abrupt shifts within the third body paragraph.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'considerable debate' and 'educational background'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, word formation, and spelling that impede smooth reading, such as 'wether', 'univrsity', 'argu', 'curiculam', and 'openion'. These lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes prevent the vocabulary score from reaching a higher level, as they show inconsistent control over less common lexical items and standard word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures with conditional clauses and dependent clauses. However, there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and article usage throughout the text, such as missing articles ('This eassay will examine'), incorrect verb forms ('i belive', 'students only rely'), and punctuation errors like missing spaces or incorrect capitalization ('whilw', 'For example , If student'). These errors require some effort from the reader to interpret the meaning, though communication is generally maintained.
