Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are different thoughts and opinions of every people. Some univeristy srudents wills to learn about other subjects with their mai subjects while others argue that it is more essential to all their time and attention to study for qualifucation.Overall, the discussion among the people with different views and opinions for their study is presented in the given statement.
To study other subjects adding to the main subject is not a bad thing for a student. We may have to focus on particular subject, but remaining other subjects are also important and useful to have as a part of our daily life as a student. It can help all the students to learn and gain knowledge about many new things that will be very helpful for a student to pursue.
Eventhough there are students who don't have the same thinking as other, pursuing a new and additional subject may create some difficulties for them in the first experience but, gradually learning about other subject can lead them to gain new experience, knowledge, and skills. Giving time and attention to a particular subject is also very good thing to do as student, it may give them more motivation to focus only on their specific future goal but having idea and getting to know and understand about various thing about study is what I think is a suitable solution according to our present days.
Me being a student, I believe and strongly support statement about wanting to learn about other subject in addition to main subject because, I am and was reading many different subject from my childhood till today and it has helped to
get knowledge and idea about various things that will be a essential point to have a brighter future ahead. I believe learning, reading and adding other subject plays a vital role in a students as well as basic humans life.
In conclusion, it's not that easy to get in a new thing within a short period of time if a individual thinking and point of view is opposite to my opinion but I guarantte that taking a life long new lessons from various subject can help to be a human with many different idea about the world and certain topic of any of the subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: you explain that studying additional subjects can broaden knowledge and skills, while focusing on a qualification may support a specific career goal. Your own position is also clear in the paragraph beginning “Me being a student,” where you support learning beyond the main subject. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The benefits of broader study are stated generally, without a specific example, and the case for concentrating on a qualification receives little explanation. The conclusion repeats your preference but does not weigh the two views or add a developed reason. To strengthen the response, explain a practical benefit and a possible cost of each approach, then connect your examples directly to your opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate discussion paragraphs, a paragraph stating your opinion, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of your answer. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the second and third body paragraphs both return to the benefits of additional subjects, while the opposing view is mentioned only briefly. Linking phrases such as “Eventhough” and “In conclusion” are used, but some connections are awkward or do not clearly show how ideas relate. Repeated references to “different thoughts and opinions” and “other subjects” also make the development feel repetitive. Organise the body around one paragraph for each view, then use a final paragraph to explain your position and connect it to the discussion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “qualification,” “motivation,” “specific future goal,” and “gain knowledge.” This gives you enough language to communicate your general ideas. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “other subjects,” “knowledge,” and “different views and opinions.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “a suitable solution according to our present days” and “a essential point.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “univeristy,” “qualifucation,” and “guarantte,” which can distract the reader. Build a wider set of accurate academic phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, describe how additional study “broadens students’ knowledge” or “develops transferable skills.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a concession beginning “Eventhough” and a sentence explaining how additional study may help students. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in “every people” and “students wills,” while missing or incorrect articles occur in “as student” and “a essential point.” Some sentences also have unclear construction, such as “it is more essential to all their time and attention to study for qualifucation,” which makes the intended meaning harder to follow. Punctuation is inconsistent, especially around commas and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected subordinate clause, then check articles, agreement, and punctuation.
