Student answer (Band 5.0)

in this eassy i will discuss about the university student some student are study other subject with his main subject because if you study the other subject it is easy for you to increase the knowledge about the other subject and it is help full for you in the future because your additional subject is help full in your any field or stage of life but the other people say the student can focoue on his main subject for his qualification because the other people opinion is when student cannot focus on his main subject or education it is very difficult for this student to complete his study because his focous on the other subject it is irrelivent for him it is not benifit for this student but all people has different prospective

MY PROSPECTIVE

as per as my prospective that it is important for student to focus on his study but also focus on the other subject because when the have the knowlwdge about all subject and it is very help full in his future tomake him proud when his study is complete and it most important to give time to his study and all subject equally because the some subject is very complicated or difficult whenyou dont focus on all subject eqally it is very difficult for your exam so it is very important for university student to focous on his all subject

REASON

when the student focous on his all subject his have a heavy information about the all subject and it is very helpfull in his studies with my opinion student can take information from all subject and give equal time to all subject to take same information

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: studying additional subjects is linked to broader knowledge and future usefulness, while the opposing view is that students should concentrate on their qualification. You also state a position, saying students should focus on their main studies while learning other subjects. However, the discussion is only partial: the reasons are broad, and the claim that students should give “equal time” to all subjects is not reconciled with the need to prioritise their qualification. The example about gaining a job in “all field” is also general rather than a specific illustration. Develop each side with a clear reason and a relevant example, then explain how your balanced position would work in practice.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has some recognisable stages, including discussion of both views, a section labelled “MY PROSPECTIVE,” and a final example. These headings help signal the intended structure. However, ideas within sections are often joined into very long strings, so the reader has to work to identify where one point ends and another begins. Connectors such as “because,” “but,” and “and” are repeated, while links between the reason, example, and conclusion are not always clear. The essay also lacks well-defined paragraphs for the two views and your opinion. Use a separate paragraph for each main function, begin each with a clear topic sentence, and use referencing and linking phrases selectively.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a small set of relevant terms, including “qualification,” “knowledge,” “additional subject,” and “focus,” so the general topic is understandable. However, vocabulary is basic and highly repetitive, especially “help full,” “all subject,” and “very difficult.” Several spelling errors, such as “eassy,” “irrelivent,” “benifit,” and “buisness,” make the writing less clear and weaken the impression of control. Some phrases are also unnatural, for example “heavy information” and “make your experience more enhance.” Build a more varied set of accurate academic expressions and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise wording for the benefits of broader study and the demands of a main qualification.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express reasons and contrasts using clauses with “because,” “when,” and “but,” showing some effort to go beyond short simple sentences. However, the range is limited, and many of these longer sentences are difficult to follow because clauses are joined without reliable sentence boundaries. Errors recur in verb forms and agreement, as in “some student are study” and “it is help full,” as well as in articles, plurals, and pronouns. Punctuation is also sparse, making sentence structure unclear. Practise writing one complete idea per sentence, then combine ideas with accurate subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and use full stops and commas to mark the relationships between ideas.
